Shawna & Kyle: Destination Wedding

Kyle and Shawna's wedding was such an amazing experience! The wedding took place on Hilton Head Island, in South Carolina. Chad and I were so excited to be a part of it. The day went perfectly- as the photographer, I couldn't have asked for more :) Both of these really, really, ridiculously good-looking friends of ours know how to work it for the camera. We had so much fun photographing them!!
This is going to be a long post! Enjoy!

Our day started with some formals of Kyle.

Once Kyle was out of sight (Kind of! haha), we had some time with Shawna. She looked stunninggg! And the light was so perfect, I couldn't stop saying so!

These next 3 are my favorites!

:) !!!

After a little downtime, we all went to the ceremony site. Setting up some last minute details:

Shawna and her dad, just before their walk down the aisle.

I thought it was so cute how it worked out that they both have 1 brother and 1 sister for their wedding party!
Brothers :)

Sisters :)

Pastor Steven and Tiffany, from Coastal Family Church, did a wonderful job officiating the ceremony. There were laughs and there were tears; it was beautiful.

The proud parents looking on:

I love this photo- so much emotion without even seeing any of the faces.

Congrats!!

After the ceremony, huge storm clouds started rolling in. We managed to make the most of the time we had and get some really great shots of the newly married, HAPPY couple!

Thanks again, Kyle and Shawna, for letting us be a part of your perfect wedding day!!!

**Be sure to check out their AWESOME wedding trailer from Eric Monroe, of Shadow Studios.

Kelly & Nick: Engagment Session

Another fun/awesome/hot engagement session!! This was our second beach shoot in one week (which is odd considering we live in Northeast Ohio). I'm not complaining; I could get used to it :)
Enjoy the preview!!

Nick and Kelly are such a gorgeous couple!

My new all-time favorite engagement session photo.

Anne & Michael: Engagement Session

Right after we got home from the beach (*That post will be up today, too!) I met up with Anne and Michael for their engagement session. I love what we captured!

Lilly joined in for a few :)

These two had each other smiling and laughing the whole shoot- I loved it!

Thanks again, Anne and Michael- can't wait for the wedding!!

Ali & Ryan: Wedding

I knew this was going to be a fun wedding to shoot- but it surpassed my expectations!! These two are so sweet and a lot of fun to be around, which is reflected in all of their friends and family. Here is a quick recap of the day:

Love this moment!

Ryan and Ali were so easy to work with and so relaxed all day.
(This was shot inside in the sanctuary of the church.)

We were able to get a lot of diversity of backgrounds all within a block of the church

To the Reception!

Everyone was on the dance floor at this party!

I'll give you one guess as to what song was playing during this:

:)

Meghan & Eric: Wedding

All throughout Meghan and Eric's wedding day, I was telling Chad I wanted to have another wedding so I could steal all of Meghan's details! I was in love with her dress and all of the GREEN everywhere :D (If you know me, you know I'm a sucker for anything green.) Their day was gorgeous and we had so much time for fun formals.

Enjoy their slideshow!

Hallie & Nick: Wedding

Chad and I had another double-wedding-weekend two weeks ago. Fortunately for us, both weddings were amazing!
Nick and Hallie are so sweet and had a wonderful wedding day. They were both so excited and had so much input for their photos. We love that!

Enjoy the slideshow :)

Out of the Office

Hello all!

Chad and I are moving into our new home today and tomorrow, and we have a wedding on Saturday. I won't be able to reply to emails and phone calls until Tuesday.

If you were expecting to see your event in the Jamie Jansen Photo store this week, I will email you on Tuesday and let you know how you can access your event.

Thank you so much for your understanding :)

Dani and Kaitlyn: Senior Session

I had SO much fun with these two!!! They are both soooo photogenic- not to mention two of the sweetest and most mature teenagers you'll ever meet. All three of us have been excited for this shoot for a long time! The weather was perfect and we found some new locations- it was an amazing shoot!

I'm going to be honest and open with all of you blog readers... I didn't do this on purpose:

But I love it!!! I should accidentally hit the shutter more often :)

And here's a more purposeful version:

This one is for Dani's mom- notice her hair isn't covering her eye :)

Both of these girls could be models. I love how dramatic this one is:

We had a lot of fun getting some shots of the two of them together! Here's one:

Girls will be girls :) Hair check!

These last two were the result of a last minute change of plans. I love these!! I processed them slightly different from my "usual" style. I just love the way they turned out!!

Thanks again Dani and Kaitlyn!!!

Vanessa & Brian: Wedding

Moving + weddings + portrait sessions + life = not a lot of time to blog! But I'm catching up :)

Chad and I couldn't have asked for a better day with Brian and Vanessa. It's always fun to photograph a friend's wedding- especially when their whole family is so awesome!!

I spent the first part of the day with the ladies while Chad photographed the guys.

The ring bearer's pillow and Vanessa's garter were HAND MADE by a relative for her! I couldn't believe it! (Side note: Vanessa couldn't find the jewelry she wanted- so she made her own!)

I don't have any sisters, so I'm always interested in seeing the bond between sisters. I loved watching Vanessa's sisters and their mom help her put her dress on.

A very emotional moment as Vanessa read the letter Brian had written her for their wedding day.

:)

Getting ready for the church exit...

An embrace in one of the few quiet moments of the day.

Just Married! I loved that Brian and Vanessa's car was driven by their best man and maid of honor.

We had about 10-15 minutes of clear skies for photos... I love greeeeen!

First dance:

The dance floor was packed the whole night!
(I don't know what you're doing, Ally, but I like it!)
