Julie & Chad: Wedding

I love being apart of wedding days. They follow a similar pattern, but there's always so many aspects that make each one unique. Chad and Julie had a gorgeous day for a wedding! We had so much fun and I'm so glad we were a part of the celebration.

Here's Julie's mom and Crystal (excitedly!) getting Julie into her dress. (Thanks, Crystal, for connecting us with Chad and Julie!)

Everyone admiring the beautiful bride:

Sometimes it's just no fun to stay in your seat. :)

This is moments after the kiss... Chad is trying to get lip gloss of his lips, haha.

We had just a few moments of daylight to work with after the ceremony, and the whole bridal party was so awesome considering the temperature dropped a bit!

We spent time with just the newlyweds before heading to the reception:

Their cake was a beautiful addition to fall theme resounding throughout the day.

There's something so beautiful about the way a couple looks into each other eyes during their first dance.

And last, but not least... I wish I could take credit for this one, but it was all Chad... My Chad, that is :)

Jackie & Chris: Wedding

Chris and Jackie's wedding day was an absolutely stunning event! All of the details, the locations, and (of course!) the amazing couple made for an awesome wedding. If Chad and I were to plan our wedding all over again, it would look a lot like this!

The ceremony was very emotional.. Jackie, you're so adorable!

I love this moment that every couple experiences on their wedding day :)

We had an AMAZING location for their formals. All of these were shot on one piece of property.

How much fun is that swing??

And how could I pass up an outdoor spiral staircase?

Can you believe this is here in town?? And in October at that!

:)

Jackie has an amazing sense of style, check out the awesome reception details:

Once the reception began, Jackie changed into her party dress! It made for great photos!

These two were amazing on the dance floor.

I absolutely love the expressions on their faces in this one!

Thanks again, Jackie & Chris!!

Nabia: Senior Session

I love my clients! They inspire me! And Nabia was no exception. She has such a great style, and is really a natural in front of the camera. And such a trooper! It was not warm or nice out by any means... I was wearing a coat, arm warmers, a hat, boots. If it had been me in front of the camera, I wouldn't look half as great as she looks!

Thank you so much, Nabia, for the great session!

I love how relaxed, yet confident Nabia looks in these two:

Gorgeous!

The only word I can think of for this one is "Stunning".

Rocking the accessories :)

I didn't have anything like this in my head before we started shooting- but I'm thrilled with this shot!

Kim & Dan: Engagement Session

Wow. Dan and Kim completely rocked their session out! We shot at the gorgeous Stan Hywet Gardens. With weather reports saying rain, rain, rain- we were SO happy to not see or feel one drop the whole time :) And hello- hot couple!! Check out the preview!

:)

When we walked into this vast open-ness of leafy ground, I knew we had to do this shot..
"Camera 1"

"Camera 2"

Tunnel of Love? I think so :)

What's a great engagement session without a creepy dancing baby statue?

:D

Can't wait for your wedding!! It's so close already!! :)

Lauren & Matt: Engagement Session

I think my favorite part of portrait sessions is the oportunity to shoot at a new location. It makes my mind run wild with new ideas :)
Matt, Lauren, and I went all over downtown Cleveland. We started the shoot at a location that's very special for the two of them. On the night Matt proposed, they dined at the Great Lakes Brewing Co. I loved that we were able to incorporate that into their photos! Hope you enjoy the preview!

The front of the pub made for a great backdrop.

Can you believe that beautiful tree was in the middle of downtown??

Haha! I love this one! These two are so playful together :)

Jessamyn & Jeffrey: Engagement Session

What is there not to love about shooting engagement sessions?? It's so great to spend time talking and laughing with couples, really getting to know them. Jeffrey and Jessamyn's session was amazing- every aspect of the shoot was perfect! These two are crazy about each other :) We had the coolest old house out in the middle of nowhere as our backdrop, and the light was oh-so-golden. I'm so excited about these photos! Enjoy the preview!

Peeking down through the stairway

How could I pass up an opportunity to photograph them in this bathtub?? I love old houses :)

As I was taking this one I knew exactly what I wanted, but I wasn't sure if I got it. When I saw this image on my monitor, it made my day :) ...PS- Now I want a photo of Chad and I exactly like this one- any takers? :)

Lovvve this!

"And they lived happily ever after."

Anne & Michael: Wedding

I'm so excited to finally post all of these weddings, because they are so awesome! This one is going to be ridiculously long... I couldn't narrow these down any more, I have too many favorites!
Anne and Michael's wedding was here in Canton. Anne and Michael preferred to not see each other before the ceremony, so we started the day with Anne and her bridesmaids, then met up with Michael and all of the guys. They had a beautiful ceremony, and an amazing reception at the McKinley Grand in downtown. It was such an awesome wedding to be a part of- thanks so much Anne and Michael!!!

The beautiful bride:

I love this shot of Anne and her mother

After we finished up with the ladies, we met the guys at the McKinley Monument. I knew Michael would be great in front of the camera, from their engagement session, but you never know how the rest of the groomsmen will be :) They were all great though!

There were some emotional moments just before the ceremony.

Anne's brother, giving her away. I love the reverance on Michael's face, and Anne's smile.

"Happy" is such an understatement for these two on their wedding day :)

Married!

How is this for a send-off:

Their bridal party welcoming them in to the celebration!

Anne and Michael's first dance was incredible!

The toasts made by their friends and family were great. At times everyone in the room was laughing:

And during others, their wasn't a dry eye in the house.

The couple's reaction to Anne's brother's incredibly touching toast.

Once dinner was finished, the party began! This might be one of my all-time favorite reception shots, hahah.

Michael and his dad owning the dance floor.

What better way to end the evening than surrounded by everyone you love :)
