I have been severely neglecting this blog- but I have some good news! A new blog is on the way! I'm excited to unvail it... I'll keep you updated :)

A Squirrel.

That is the reason I have been without the internet for the past 36 hours: A squirrel.

Apparently, a squirrel chewed through our cable line, right where it comes out of the house. The repair man said it happens all of the time, but hopefully that will be the last time it happens to us!

I've got lots of posts coming today so stay tuned :D

The End of Pictage
It has come to my attention that Pictage has been behaving in an un-ethical manor towards my clients. I find this unacceptable. In an effort to best serve and protect all of my clients, I am in the process of closing all the Pictage galleries. Your photos will soon be available at the Jamie Jansen Photography Store located right on my website. Each photo ordered will now be expertly color corrected by me and printed at the highest quality available. I will still honor the 2 for 1 Print option as well as many other selections far more pleasing to everyone's wants and needs. In the mean time, your photos will soon be unavailable for purchase from Pictage and I recommend waiting until you see your new gallery in my store before purchasing anything. I will keep you posted over the coming weeks about the progress. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. I guarantee you will be much more satisfied with the quality and service that I insist on giving all of my clients. I apologize to anyone that may have had any problems in the past and I promise you won't have any problems from me. You guys are great.

Out of the Office

Just wanted to give a heads up to let everyone know I'm going to be out of the office from June 21st to June 29th. Chad and I have 3 weddings and we're volunteering at theShelter's summer camp all in those 8 days! This summer is off to a busy start :D

I'll have limited access to phone & email, but I'll get back to calls and emails whenever I can.

I have two weddings and two engagement sessions to blog so be looking for those starting this evening!

Blog Neglect: Time to Update

I've been neglecting this pretty little blog lately :( I haven't been shooting, but I have been doing a lot of album designing! (Which I love). Part of the reason my shooting has been limited is the weather we've had lately. We were literally snowed in over the weekend. Earlier that week, we were left without power for almost 24 hours. I am ready for SPRING!! :)
Anyway, I am so excited for our weddings this year! We've got so many amazing brides and grooms to photograph. We're going to be photographing our receptions a lot differently this year and I can't wait to show you the results!
We also have a biggggg change in the works for our business this year. I really can't stress enough that I'M EXCITED for this year!

These are from the Cameneti family session last fall. These images didn't get blogged because the family photo was used in the Christmas cards the church sent out. This is Kade. He is so much fun to photograph!! He's not shy, and as you can see he is adorable!

Going Out of Town!

I want to let everyone know I'll be out of town all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I don't think I'll be able to use my phone or check my email while I'm gone, but I'll get back to you on Monday!
