Jessamyn & Jeffrey: Engagement Session

What is there not to love about shooting engagement sessions?? It's so great to spend time talking and laughing with couples, really getting to know them. Jeffrey and Jessamyn's session was amazing- every aspect of the shoot was perfect! These two are crazy about each other :) We had the coolest old house out in the middle of nowhere as our backdrop, and the light was oh-so-golden. I'm so excited about these photos! Enjoy the preview!

Peeking down through the stairway

How could I pass up an opportunity to photograph them in this bathtub?? I love old houses :)

As I was taking this one I knew exactly what I wanted, but I wasn't sure if I got it. When I saw this image on my monitor, it made my day :) ...PS- Now I want a photo of Chad and I exactly like this one- any takers? :)

Lovvve this!

Anne & Michael: Wedding

I'm so excited to finally post all of these weddings, because they are so awesome! This one is going to be ridiculously long... I couldn't narrow these down any more, I have too many favorites!
Anne and Michael's wedding was here in Canton. Anne and Michael preferred to not see each other before the ceremony, so we started the day with Anne and her bridesmaids, then met up with Michael and all of the guys. They had a beautiful ceremony, and an amazing reception at the McKinley Grand in downtown. It was such an awesome wedding to be a part of- thanks so much Anne and Michael!!!

The beautiful bride:

I love this shot of Anne and her mother

After we finished up with the ladies, we met the guys at the McKinley Monument. I knew Michael would be great in front of the camera, from their engagement session, but you never know how the rest of the groomsmen will be :) They were all great though!

There were some emotional moments just before the ceremony.

Anne's brother, giving her away. I love the reverance on Michael's face, and Anne's smile.

"Happy" is such an understatement for these two on their wedding day :)

Married!

How is this for a send-off:

Their bridal party welcoming them in to the celebration!

Anne and Michael's first dance was incredible!

The toasts made by their friends and family were great. At times everyone in the room was laughing:

And during others, their wasn't a dry eye in the house.

The couple's reaction to Anne's brother's incredibly touching toast.

Once dinner was finished, the party began! This might be one of my all-time favorite reception shots, hahah.

Michael and his dad owning the dance floor.

What better way to end the evening than surrounded by everyone you love :)

Chelsay & Kevin: Wedding

Shooting Kevin & Chelsay's wedding was an absolute joy for Chad and I. They gave us plenty of time for creative portraits and bridal party photos... not to mention the fact that their church was gorgeous, they had a horse drawn carriage, and they are head-over-heels-crazy in love with each other! :)

Here's a quick preview of their amazing wedding day:

Chelsay's mother and sisters going over the toast:

Some finishing touches :)

We stepped outside for a couple quick portraits of Chelsay with her girls before the ceremony.

I love this shot of Kevin and his groomsmen just before Chelsay came down the aisle!

The kiss :)

I love this moment, it's like their smiles are saying "We're married!!!"

We had a great time at Squire's Castle in Willoughby Hills with the whole bridal party.

We even had time to stop by the Mentor Headlands Beach for a few shots with Kevin and Chelsay

What an entrance!

These two did not stop smiling all day :)

At the end of the night, I stepped out with Kevin and his groomsmen while they smoked cigars... I don't know anything about cigars, but I'm pretty sure they had really good ones, hah :)
I love love love this photo of Kevin:

Thanks again, Kevin & Chelsay!!

Jenny & Matt: Wedding

Matt and Jenny had their beautiful wedding and reception at the Avalon Country Club. Their ceremony was very personal and the reception was a non-stop celebration! Chad and I were excited to shoot Matt and Jenny's wedding because we knew were going to see some familiar faces. We photographed Jenny's cousin (Danielle's) wedding last October. We're so thankful for all of our clients, and we're so glad we were there to be a part of Matt and Jenny's wedding day!

Getting the day started with make-up.

Jenny's father's first look at her bouquet.

The ceremony!

I mentioned earlier that their ceremony was a very personal one. Instead of the traditional unity candle, Matt and Jenny had a wine pouring ceremony.

We had a short window of clear skies after the ceremony, and we were able to find some gorgeous locations around the golf course.

The reception began with the newly wed's first dance.

I love the way Jenny's father is smiling ear to ear, so proud of his daughter :)

Everyone was out on the dance floor!

Thanks again Matt and Jenny!!
